Striking camp

• * Packing. Everything should be as neatly packed as on arrival. The tent and bedding should be packed in accordance with the type of bag/barrel being used and of the weather prevailing at the time. If possible, a wet pack could be demonstrated.
• * Restoration of the ground. Any holes which have been dug should be filled, the turf replaced and any foul ground marked with a cross.
• * Departure from the pitch. The pitch should be checked thoroughly to make sure that all pegs, rubbish, etc, have been removed and nothing left behind, especially items which could pose a danger to other campers or animals.
