I would like to thank all members of the Canoe-Camping Club who attended my birthday meet at Huttons Ambo on the River Derwent. The Meet was very well attended by all my friends from as far afield as Nottingham and the North East. I had so many cards from all over England, and also from Rodney in Germany. Thank you all.
In particular I would like to thank our Secretary and his wife (Gordon and Rita) for the wonderful cake (complete with canoeist) they provided.
I might add that this, my 80th birthday, was the best I have ever had. My years won’t make any difference to my enjoying myself with all members of the Canoe-Camping Club. Thank you all.
