* Remember - there must be at least 2 fresh veggies. I've highlighted them in the recipes in green

* For dishes including rice, you can use half a packet of pre-cooked rice instead. Add the rice 3 minutes before the end of cooking time, and reduce the amount of liquid by ¼ mug.

Smoky bacon noodles

Ingredients

1 rasher bacon, trimmed and chopped

2 spring onions, white and green separated and finely sliced

50g green beans, sliced

quarter tsp paprika

two thirds of a mug water

1 block ramen noodles (e.g. 8p Asda noodles)

Fry the bacon for a few mins, add the white parts of the spring onions, beans and paprika, then cook for 1 min more. Add the water.  TIp in the noodle sauce sachet, add the noodles and stir. Simmer for a couple of mins until thick and saucy, then scatter with the green parts of spring onion.
